GITM Real-Time
The global ionosphere-thermosphere simulated in real time: GITM driven by the MIDL multi-spacecraft solar-wind merge, ballistically propagated to the bow-shock nose (14 Re, OMNI convention) at one-minute cadence. A new frame is produced every 5 minutes; model grid 10° lon × 2.5° lat. The aurora comes from the FTA model driven by LAUREN’s real-time AU/AL indices, and daily F10.7 solar flux from the Penticton observatory.
